What is a video-style wedding invitation?

Many people who search for a wedding invitation video are looking for something that feels like a film: music of the moment, moving photos, names appearing on screen. What you make here is close in feel but different in format. It is an animated invitation page: a sealed envelope that opens, your names and the date, photos that appear as guests scroll, a countdown and a finale with fireworks.

The honest difference is that it is not an MP4. There is nothing to render, export or upload, and no large file to send on WhatsApp that gets compressed. You share a link, and the invitation plays on the guest's phone. The advantage is that it also does what a video cannot: a button to the venue in Maps, the date added to the calendar, and a reply form that tells you who is coming.

For an Indian wedding, you can fill in the ceremony and the reception with their own date, time and venue, and use the notes section for the rest, such as the dress code, the parking or a line about the mehendi and sangeet that the family will announce separately. Send it to the family groups, to relatives abroad and to friends, and keep one RSVP list for the caterer.

At the bottom of the invitation they write their name, accept or decline, say how many are coming and can add a note (allergies, children…). No app and no account: it works in any browser.
